Description of Azaleas Front the Blue Ridge

This image of azaleas blooming in the foreground with the foothills and finally the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background is a return to my longtime residence in North Garden.  The local azaleas were always one of the first plants to bloom in the spring.  I loved the vermillion flowers against the green of spring.  It is one of the things I miss most from leaving that area around Charlottesville, but it gives me an excuse to visit from the “big city” these days.  TO
