Harvest Moon over the Chesapeake (Chick’s Beach)

Another painting from a photo posted by one of  my rugby mates, this time courtesy of Mike Herron from Norfolk.  Congratulations Mike for being selected to the Blues HOF.  Mike posted the reference photo of a harvest moon ovder the Chesapeake Bay at Chick’s Beach, and I couldn’t resist trying my hand at capturing the moment in acrylic paint.  If my rugby friends keep sending in photos of all their “ports of call,” I won’t have to worry about sufficient subject matter for future paintings.  TO
